What is the Latino Media Festival


The Latino Media Festival is the unique presenter of the best U.S. based Latino content across all media platforms: short narrative films, television/streaming pilots, digital content, virtual reality, augmented reality and documentary shorts.

NALIP's Latino Media Festival brings together Latino filmmakers, industry reps, executives, and film aficionados for a 3-day event. The festival will feature premieres, workshops, master classes, nightly mixers and star-studded awards ceremony to recognize substantial work in entertainment that inspires Latino creatives to continue moving their projects forward in front and behind the camera.

Can I attend the fest without submitting a film?


Yes, you can attend the Latino Media Fest without submitting a film. Please purchase a pass in order to attend the workshop, panels, screenings, and industry mixer (21+).

How do I submit my project?


The projects must have a running time less than 20 minutes.

Must feature Latino talent on or behind the camera in leading roles, and/or focus on issues that pertain to the Latino/a community.

In order to submit for consideration, please go to our Filmfreeway page. Deadline for submissions is August 14 at 11:59pm.

Can I submit more than one project?


Yes, you can start the film submission here.

Can I submit my script?


We only accept completed film submissions.

Is there a member discount for submissions?


Yes, there is. Please email LatinoMediaFest@nalip.org to confirm your membership and they will provide you the relevant information.

What type of programs are scheduled?


The program includes:

  • Mentor Workshop
  • Panels
  • Master Classes
  • Screenings
  • Networking Mixers (21 & Over event)

Where is the venue located?


The venue is the AMC Century City 15.

Where do I park? and is parking provided?


Parking is available at Westfield Century City. Entrance to parking is on Constellation Blvd and Century Park West.

Self-Parking Rates:

  • 0-1 hours: $1.00
  • 1-2 hours: $2.00
  • 2-3 hours: $3.00

Every 30 mins thereafter: $2.00
6+ Hours: $28.00

Validation offered at AMC, Gelson's, and selected restaurants for the first three hours.

NALIP does not validate parking.

Can I bring a guest?


Yes, of course! Just have your friend(s) purchase their tickets here.

What if I want to buy mutiple tickets for different people?


We highly recommend that you send them the link to purchase their own pass. If you purchase multiple passes, please email LatinoMediaFest@nalip.org and notify who will receive the additional ticket(s). Please provide their full name and email address. Please remember to bring ID the day of the event.

Is there a member ticket discount?


Yes, there is. Please refer to the Blind Sale rate we have going on until Monday, August 28, 2018! Tickets available here.

Can I submit a music video?


We only accept narrative shorts, documentary shorts, virtual or augmented reality projects, digital web series, and television pilots submissions for Latino Media Fest.
