#LatinxGoldOpen Supports New Film "Summertime"

The #LatinxGoldOpen continues to amplify multicultural films on opening weekend. We are ready to, once again, bring together large audiences to guarantee success, through an extensive network of influencers, on opening weekend.
On behalf of NALIP, Gold House, and CAPE, we are thrilled to announce our support for the next #LatinxGoldOpen screening -- Summertime. Set in Los Angeles, Summertime is a spoken word poetry musical that follows the intersecting stories of 27 young Angelenos over the course of a single day. This multicultural film will be in limited theaters July 9th in Los Angeles and New York City, and July 16th for expanded release.
Please join us for the #LatinxGoldOpen screening of Summertime, Co-presented with GuadaLAjara Film Festival on Thursday, July 8th at 8:30pm at the Landmark theater in Los Angeles. Screening includes a Q&A with Cast and Crew.
Plus an additional screening at the Quad Cinema in New York City on July 10th at 7:00pm.

Additionally, join the cast of Summertime for the Summertime Block Party - a day of spoken word, music, poetry workshops, cyphers, and special guests starting at 1:00 PM PT at 3rd St. Promenade in Downtown Santa Monica.

About Summertime:
SYNOPSIS: A spoken word poetry musical set in Los Angeles, following the intersecting stories of 27 young Angelinos over the course of a single day. The film was developed over a Summer workshop with these 27 youth poets, all of whom served as co-writers and stars.
