Internships

Internships at NALIP are made possible by the LA County Department of Arts and Culture.

NALIP internships offer an opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience, networking opportunities, and project management expertise. Examples of projects that our past interns have completed include:

  • Coordinate vital tasks that help run the incubation programs, NALIP Media Summit and other NALIP programs and events.
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities with sister organizations and industry networks, film markets and festivals.
  • Develop social media updates and strategy via our social media accounts, website, and newsletter.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a NALIP intern. We have currently filled all of our roles for 2024.

Applications open again in Spring 2025.

Interning at NALIP was a formative experience for me. As the Program Intern, I learned how to coordinate and execute events. Moreover, the experience showed me that there’s endless opportunities in the entertainment industry as a woman of color. - Mia Cucufate, Intern 2023

Being a NALIP intern was the best first step into my career in the entertainment industry. Being surrounded by so many talented creatives and learning about the ins and outs of the industry has truly helped prepare me and inspire me to continue on my creative journey. - Amy Nunez, Intern 2023

I love that NALIP is dedicated to providing us with real, tangible resources and connections to help build our careers. The team really cares about us and our interests, as well as introducing us to a range of experience and aspects of the film industry. This internship has made a monumental impact on my confidence for my career and aspirations. - Marissa Cueva, Intern 2024
