NALIP Volunteer Program
The 2020 NALIP Media Summit is just around the corner, and we could use your help!
Volunteers help us bring many of our programs, especially the NALIP Media Summit, to life, and make the evening a fun, safe, and inspirational event for everyone. NALIP events are a great opportunity for volunteers looking to donate their time to help elevate Latinx content creators in specific programs. Please join us in making this year’s 2020 NALIP Media Summit a success.
The NALIP Media Summit: is dedicated to facilitating the advancement and engagement of Latinx creators across multiple media platforms. As the industry shifts, NALIP strives to examine and explain how Latinx content creators can be proactive.
NALIP's Media Summit brings together Latinx filmmakers, industry reps, executives, and film aficionados for a 4-day conference. The summit will feature panels, workshops, nightly mixers and star-studded awards ceremony to recognize substantial work in entertainment that inspires Latinx creatives to continue moving their projects forward in front and behind the camera.
Volunteers will be asked to do a variety of different tasks, some of which may require lifting equipment or other physical activities. Please feel comfortable communicating your needs with us as it is very important to NALIP that you are a happy and safe volunteer.
We have different areas you can contribute to when joining our team:

Production / Logistics:
- Assist in planning out the schedule of events and programs taking place

Registration (Customer Service and Support)
- Directly interact with our guests and inform them more about our events

Digital Production (Editing / Camera Operating)
- Help capture memorable moments of the multiple days and gain experience in digital production and editing

Communications and PR
Promote our events and programs through social media and aid in talent management -
Transportation
- Must be 25+. Assists the logistics team on runs and coordination of talent pick up
