We own some of the most popular digital kids’ IP in the world, including CoComelon, the biggest kids show on both Netflix and YouTube, Blippi, the biggest presenter-led kids show in the world, Little Baby Bum, My Magic Pet Morphle and many more.

We are a global company, with our two main offices based in London and Los Angeles.

 

The Role:

We are looking for an animation producer to run one of our most successful animation series. This role will set the pace, communication, and culture of the production to support workflows, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and an efficient animation pipeline. As an experienced animation producer, this role requires overseeing pre-production, production, and delivery of our globally successful children's animated content and will lead the production management team to deliver our content on schedule and on budget. The Animation producer will work closely with our internal creative teams and global 3rd party animation studios.

The Role:

We are looking for an animation producer to run one of our most successful animation series. This role will set the pace, communication, and culture of the production to support workflows, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and an efficient animation pipeline. As an experienced animation producer, this role requires overseeing pre-production, production, and delivery of our globally successful children's animated content and will lead the production management team to deliver our content on schedule and on budget. The Animation producer will work closely with our internal creative teams and global 3rd party animation studios.

This role reports on-site at our Los Angeles West Hollywood office.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and overseeing the production schedule and budgets.
  • Leading and mentoring the Production Management team.
  • Aligning with the Creative team on all aspects of production in conjunction with animation best practices.
  • Working with the Production Accounting team for budget updates and cost reports.
  • Partnering with Music and Post Production to ensure that all production elements meet delivery schedules and requirements.
  • Working with Legal to manage contracts and agreements as needed for writers, casting directors, voice directors, recording studios, production companies and other entities.
  • Partnering with our creative team to help protect their vision while maintaining budget and schedule parameters.
  • Communicating production schedules to the production and creative teams, animation studio partners, and any other support teams.
  • Managing expectations around content production.
  • Attending storyboard pitches, animatic reviews, spotting sessions, mixes, and onlines as needed.
  • Preparing reports and summaries for key stakeholders with accurate, clear, concise communication.
  • Supporting department leaders with problem solving and providing creative solutions.
  • Partnering with peers to help build and cultivate studio culture.
  • Providing headcount projections and prioritizing building a diverse and inclusive team.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must have extensive Animation experience. Experience producing CGI series is essential.
  • Good technical understanding of the animation pipeline, as well as experience with client interaction.
  • Experience working with all departments and multiple vendors.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently.
  • Clear and confident communicator.
  • A good appreciation and understanding of the creative process.
  • Extremely organized, motivated, adaptable and has a diverse skillset.
  • Must be very personable.
  • Has an understanding of pre-school demographics.
  • 5+ years of experience in animation.
