This Season of Giving we call on the NALIP community to give the gift of opportunity! The Season of Giving happens during the last two months of the year, when people and communities come together to support the causes they believe in.
According to the 2024 Latino Donor Collaborative’s U.S. Latinos in Media Report, U.S. Latinos make up a substantial share of film consumption in the U.S. accounting for 24% of movie ticket sales. Yet, Latinos remain underrepresented, making up less than 10% of lead roles in scripted TV and films.
Since our founding in 1999, NALIP has continued its mission to promote, advance, advocate and inspire Latino and diverse artists across all media platforms. It would not be possible without the support we receive from our members, partners, and donors who make it possible for us to create opportunities for underrepresented creatives.
