Rafaela Camelo is both a screenwriter and director for films and television. She has more than 10 years of experience in audiovisual, including also several works as an executive producer​.

Rafaela earned a degree in audiovisuals from University of Brazil as well as a graduate degree in script writing at FAAP. Her short films, such as “A arte de andar pelas ruas de Brasilia” have been screened and awarded at major festivals in Brazil and around the world, such as Tiradentes, Havana, Brasília Festival, Torino and most recently at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2019, “Desires of the Flesh” was a part of NALIP Media Summit's Official Selection.
