Production Intern/Volunteer

We are currently seeking a highly organized, motivated production intern/volunteer to work closely with our team on pre production and on site for the 2017 NALIP Media Summit. The production intern will primarily help our Production team in coordinating all event logistics, research and execution of the Media Summit.
This is an unpaid internship, college credit is available. Intern must be able to commit 3 days per week minimum.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assisting with events pre-production and operations on site

Creating and following thoroughly timeline specifications for events

Ordering supplies
-
Maintaining and creating spreadsheets for production paperwork including schedules, staff and crew lists

Filing/Organizing current project documents and archiving old ones

Helping to maintain up to date NALIP Website and Mobile App
Qualifications:
-
Ideal candidate should be self-motivated, able to work in a team environment and multi-task, have a good attitude, and be able to function well in an environment with short deadlines and quick turnaround projects.

Passion for production and hunger to learn about the entertainment industry.

Previous experience in production a plus.

Pro-active behavior.

Impeccable communication skills.

Attention to detail.

Professionalism is a MUST.

Proficient in Google Drive and Excel.

Ability to work in a team setting, while sharing tasks, responsibilities and managing multiple requests
