CAA Signs ‘The Blackening’s’ Dewayne Perkins (EXCLUSIVE)

Dewayne Perkins, a Emmy-nominated actor, writer and comedian signed with CAA to rep him. Perkins co-produced, co-wrote with Tracy Oliver, and stars in "The Blackening." Hee also has credits in "The Hip-Hop Nutcracker" and "Sausage Party: Foodtopia." Other credits to note are: television writing credits also including “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “Saved by the Bell,” “The Break With Michelle Wolf” and “The Amber Ruffin Show.”

Netflix Picks Up Sundance Midnight Movie ‘Run Rabbit Run’ Starring Sarah Snook

Netflix bought the rights to stream Sundance Midnight Movie "Run Rabbit Run," directed by Daina Reed, in the U.S. and other international territories. The film stars Sarah Snook in a thriller/horror as a fertility doctor. Starring alongside her are: Lily LaTorre, Damon Herriman and Greta Scacchi.

Sundance Returns in Person: Screenings and Parties Met With Celebration and COVID Anxiety

Sundance Film Festival returned to normal since the pandemic. Most films premieres are available to watch online. A few of the biggest titles during opening night was "The Pod Generation", "Sometimes I Think About Dying", and more. Many people were excited to go back to almost normal and attend the festival.

Netflix Unveils Hopes For Next ‘Squid Game’ With Biggest Ever Korean Film & TV Slate Featuring ‘The Glory Part 2′, ‘Kill Boksoon’ & ‘Crash Course In Romance’

Netflix unveils its largest slate of Korean TV and film, including what Netflix hopes to be its next "Squid Game." Korean content has been in Netflix's Top Ten in over 90 countries and three of the most watched shows. The watch time of Korean content also rose slightly to 93, but Japanese content is at 123.

AAFCA Awards Winners List Includes Angela Bassett, Jeremy Pope & Gina Prince-Bythewood’s ‘The Woman King’

AAFCA revealed the winners of its 14th annual AAFCA Awards. "The Woman King" won best picture and the director, Gina Prince-Bythewood, was best director. For the special achievement honorees, "Till" received the Impact Award and Antoine and Will Smith got the Beacon Award for "Emancipation." Danielle Deadwyler ("Till") and Jeremy Pope ("The Inspection") won Best Actress and Actor.
