Former CBS Entertainment chairman Nina Tassler has partnered with producer Denise Di Novi to form PatMa Productions. The new studio is expected to produce content for multiple platforms with an emphasis on inclusion.
Actress Mishel Prada has signed with UTA.

David Strathairn to Star in Edward James Olmos’ ‘The Devil Has a Name’

Edward James Olmos will direct and star alongside David Strathairn in “The Devil Has a Name.” The film is described as an environmental, dark comedy. Both men are Oscar nominees — Olmos for “Stand and Deliver” and Strathairn for “Good Night and Good Luck.”
