Mauricio Ochmann-Fernanda Castillo Starrer ‘Ya Veremos’ Posts Bumper Mexican Debut Ahead Of Stateside Bow

A bittersweet drama, Ya Veremos, (We’ll see) had the second-biggest opening weekend beating out Mission Impossible: Fallout. Pantelion Films based in Santa Monica distributed the film which has gain popularity in the Mexican film industry. The film proves to show that Mexican films are gaining momentum in the Latino community in comparison to American films especially in a country like Mexico with a global box office $100M worldwide.

“Escape at Dannemora” just released their new trailer the television series will star Benicio Del Toro. Directed by Ben Stiller, Del Toro will play a convicted murderer.. Benicio will have a lead role in the series. He will be representing the latino community in a prison break drama. The eight-episode series will air on Showtime on November 18 at 10pm.

Our member Emma Ramos’s sketch Spanish Class was selected on the semifinalists for the 13th annual NBCUniversal Short Film Festival"Chosen from more than 3,400 submissions, the semifinalists feature stories about people of ethnically diverse backgrounds, the LGBTQ community, and women. Of the 15 projects that made the cut this year, 11 are directed and/or directed by women, topping 2017’s record inclusion rate, and about half feature stories centered on female protagonists."
