‘Vida’ Creator Tanya Saracho Inks Development Deal With UCP, Launches Latinx Talent Lab

Vida creator Tanya Saracho is getting into business with UCP, signing a development deal with the studio, a division of Universal Studio Group. Under the pact, Saracho will develop and create original content for television as well as podcasts via the studio’s UCP Audio extension. As part of the deal, Saracho will establish a lab and incubator program for Latinx voices.
The Gardena Left Behind - LA Virtual Cinema Premiere

THE GARDEN LEFT BEHIND will premiere August 28 at the La Emmle and will drop a VOD on Sept 8th. The film traces the relationship between Tina (Carlie Guevara), a young Mexican trans woman, and Eliana (Miriam Cruz), her grandmother, as they navigate Tina's transition and struggle to build a life for themselves as undocumented immigrants in New York City.
