Following the story of 17-year-old Ulises (played by breakout Juan Daniel Garcia Treviño), the film, Mexico’s submission in the International Feature Oscar race, uses his journey to present a different kind of immigrant narrative. ICM Partners has signed Valerie Walsh Valdes and Leslie Valdes and will represent the couple, who co-created and executive produce Nick Jr.’s "Santiago of the Seas", in all areas.

Valerie is most known for co-creating and executive producing Nickelodeon’s iconic children series "Dora The Explorer" while Leslie started his television professional career as a staff writer at this same series and later became the head writer and producer of Disney Junior’s "The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse".
