Media Arts (Film and Video Production) (lecturer, non-tenure track)

The Indiana University Media School is looking for an experienced practitioner to teach courses in Media Arts, specifically film and video production. Expertise in a wide range of production skills and media platforms is needed, including single-camera/multi-camera film and television, documentary, and other areas of interest to the candidate. Industry experience in cinematography, editing, or audio production is highly desirable. Ideal candidates will have both experience teaching and a significant portfolio of professional work. Minimum education is a relevant Master’s Degree in the field of instruction.
Qualified candidates may enjoy opportunities to work with other faculty, staff and students to create content for WTIU and WFIU. WTIU is the Public Television station at Indiana University. WTIU regularly creates documentary, entertainment, and other films for distribution on local, state, regional and national public television. WFIU, the Public Radio station for south central Indiana creates award-winning statewide news and public affairs programming for television, radio and the web.
