Jens Kull's body of fine art installations aim to expand the viewers concept and consciousness of the self (E.g. “Deep Down – High Up” an interactive “Terrascope” from 2012 that reveals an unknown world to the visitor). VR is finally getting technically ready to undertake personal endeavors that go far beyond an established consumer model and mainstream storytelling. For Kull it is of upmost importance what each individual carries into VR, and what one pretends to take out of it, since improved immersive experiences entail a direct pathway to emotions and deeper psychological shifting. A new, hopefully collective way of grasping reality (or storytelling) is paving its way, and it has never been more exciting to witness and shape it.

Jens Kull is developing VR content for Mexico City based VR SUMO and founded the Los Angeles based ALLVR directors collective.
