This position manages editor and production access for Evercast, or equivalent remote editorial viewing platform. Works closely with post director and post manager to maintain Monday scheduling software to track editors and editorial bays. Maintain the post and digital directors meeting schedules. Manage and monitor the archival needs of all series. Manage and arrange post and digital crew events. This position supports the Post Production staff including, but not limited to, the Post and Digital Managers, post production supervisors, the editors and assistant editors.

The National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is currently seeking to fill the position of the 2022 NALIP Media Summit Assistant Coordinator. The assistant coordinator is responsible for working alongside the coordinator to execute the largest media event for the Latine community that aligns with NALIP’s mission and vision of promoting, advocating and creating opportunities for Latines in entertainment, working closely with the NALIP’s staff, interns, and volunteers.
The NALIP Media Summit is a 4-day conference that brings together industry professionals and filmmakers to promote and advance Latine and diverse content creators in media, behind and in front of the camera. The Media Summit is NALIP’s staple event and remains the largest and most prestigious gathering of Latine content creators in America. We celebrate the convergence of media and the inclusion of Latines as one within the general market.
Applicants are expected to be able to efficiently contribute to the team in a fast paced work environment while under pressure. Excellent communication and immense organizational skills are a must.

The Clinical Assistant Professor should have a passion for diverse modes of digital storytelling with an emphasis on justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) in their creative work and/or in engaging diverse communities in teaching and practice. A focus on innovation in new technologies in a fast-paced, open learning environment will be key in a successful candidate. Candidates with a wide range of experience (including mainstream film/tv, community engaged media work, documentary, etc.) are encouraged to apply.
The position primarily involves teaching courses in downtown Los Angeles to junior and senior-level film students and community college transfer students. This teaching may include on-line or Zoom-based teaching. The position also carries school and university service responsibilities and a possible research or creative activity component. Clear communication with Arizona-based film school leadership and faculty, along with the Los Angeles-based Curriculum Director will be essential. The course teaching load could include: intro/mid-level hands-on production courses, intro/mid-level hands-on post-production courses, or intro/mid-level courses designed by candidate. The service load may include serving on film school related committees (events, outreach, industry), outreach to community colleges and high schools, community partner/industry outreach, and outreach in other specialty areas (documentary, distribution) depending on the qualifications and expertise of the candidate.
