Jennifer Lopez and and Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas’ Nuyorican Productions and Universal Television will be producing a CBS dramedy called 'Rosarito Beach'. 

The show will have Matt Lopez supervising and showrunning, and is created by Nick Weiss and Isaac Laskin. The show is planned as a one-hour procedural between a rebellious Californian female attorney and a strict male Latino lawyer based in San Diego, working on cases that cross between the US/Mexican border and legal systems. The show is expected to challenge cultural assumptions and may be more than just a little relevant in our current social and political climate.
