Ivette Lopez is an award-nominated writer, storyteller, and communications professional with over 15 years of experience, passionate about crafting campaigns and events that amplify creatives.
Originally from Fresno, California, she holds a B.A. in Journalism from Cal State Northridge and an M.A. in Strategic Public Relations from USC. She began her career as a freelance journalist covering Latinos in the film industry before expanding into podcasting, writing, producing, and eventually leading editorial and content initiatives for companies like NPR, iHeart Media, and Warner Bros. Discovery, among others.
Now, as Events Manager at NALIP, Ivette brings industry programming to life, ensuring meaningful opportunities for emerging and established creatives. She also sits on the team at Hola Mexico, serving as the director of the Tomorrow's Filmmakers Today Fellowship.
