La Plaza de Cultura y Artes presents I Love Lupe: Celebrating Hollywood's Madrina, a film series honoring the late Mexican American actress Lupe Ontiveros. They will be screening El Norte, about "a brother and sister from a Mayan community who escape a massacre by the Guatemalan army. Rosa and Enrique must first make their way through Mexico to find a new home in Los Angeles and survive as undocumented migrants." 

Enjoy music throughout the night provided by DJ Fresko and a performance by La Chamba!
