Chadwick Boseman Loses Battle to Cancer & Leaves An Empowering Legacy On The Community

Rest in Power and Love, Chadwick. You have inspired an entire generation. Your legacy will live on and will thrive.

This past weekend Chadwick Boseman lost his battle to colon cancer after battling with it for four years. The star of many unforgettable films like ‘Black Panther’, '21 Bridges', '42' and more sadly passed away on last Friday. Chadwick had a great impact on the black community by representing his community through his films that were empowering.

Amazon Studios Acquires J Balvin Docu ‘The Boy From Medellín’

The world is about to be immersed in the life of musician J Balvin. Amazon Studios has acquired the worldwide rights to the documentary The Boy From Medellín ahead of its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. The documentary will showcase unprecedented access to J Balvin’s life as he prepares for his biggest concert yet--in his hometown of Medellín, Colombia. It will spotlight this reggaeton star and give us behind the scenes looks on one of the most influential Latinx musicians of our time.

Entertainment Professionals With Disabilities Supported by Major Studios

Studios like NBCUniversal, Sony Pictures Studios and The Walt Disney Studios are supporting the Entertainment Professionals With Disabilities. The organization connects writers, producers, directors and cinema animators with mentors and leaders in the industry. It had its annual RespectAbility’s Summer Lab to bring inclusivity and give professionals with disabilities opportunities within the field.

Disney+ Subscribers Will Be Able to Stream Mulan this December



Mulan live action film will be available this December for Disney+ subscribers for no additional cost at home. The movie was originally supposed to be released this past March, though due to Coronavirus production had to postpone the film for a later release date. The live action film has been long awaited for and for those fans who can no longer wait this Friday September 4 subscribers will be able to get early-access to the film by paying an additional $29.99.
