‘Gordita Chronicles’: Premiere Date & Trailer For HBO Max Comedy Set In 1980s Miami

The first trailer release of Gordita Chronicles is the comedy/coming of age series that finally gives Latinos their own sitcom version of hits like: Meet The Goldbergs, Everybody Hates Chris, and Young Sheldon. Cucu “Gordita” Castelli (Olivia Goncalves) is the young and vibrant girl, who along with her family, attempts to accustom herself to American society in 1985 and live out the famous American Dream. The series will premiere Thursday, June 23 on HBO Max.

‘Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet Of Curiosities’ Confirms Additional Cast Members In Teaser Trailer

Guillermo Del Toro enriches his vision for the horror series, Cabinet of Curiosity, with a long awaited trailer. The clip confirms new cast members - Eric André, Sofia Boutella, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Kate Micucci and Charlyne Yi. The series proposes to challenge the “traditional notions of horror” by intertwining new and diverse story elements into the genre. Del Toro will also be including two of his own original works which will be brought to life by writers he personally scouted.

‘Wednesday’ Teaser: First Look At Jenna Ortega As Wednesday Addams In Tim Burton’s Netflix Series

Wednesday arrived promptly on June 1st with its first look at the main character’s self titled series. The well known stern-faced girl will be played by Jenna Ortega and the coming-of-age comedy series will feature Wednesday “navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore”. Tim Burton is set as one of the executive producers for the long-awaited Adams Family series.

Roku Channel Launches Free Hispanic Streaming Hub Espacio Latino

In response to the underrepresented Hispanic audience Roku has launched an initiative which will give Latine audiences “thousands of hours of free movies and TV shows in Spanish”. Those who favor the program will also have the opportunity to add the premium subscription and enjoy more beloved Spanish favorites.

‘Art Of Love’ With Esai Morales And ‘Tigertail’s Kunjue Li Lands At Samuel Goldwyn Films; Watch Trailer

Art of Love, also known as Simone, is a romance/thriller which follows the erotic and haunting love story of the Professor (Esai Morales) and Li Chao (Kunjue Li), a college student of his. Samuel Goldwyn Films acquired the U.S release rights of the adapted film and it will feature both a theatrical and digital release July 22.

‘Don’t Make Me Go’ Trailer: John Cho & Mia Isaac Lead Amazon’s Father-Daughter Dramedy

Don’t Make Me Go, an honorary Tribeca line-up, follows the relationship of a single father, Max, and his young daughter, Wally. After hearing that he has a terminal illness Max convinces his daughter to go on a road trip to New Orleans where he plans to leave her with her estranged mother. The dramedy is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival June 13 but audiences can view the film on Prime Video June 15.

Tribeca Festival Kicks Off With Celebratory Doc ‘Halftime,’ Low Key Presence By Star Jennifer Lopez

The Queen of N.Y.C makes her “midcareer comeback” with a new Netflix documentary titled Halftime. Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming documentary showcases the star taking a stand for social justice and her desire to prioritize her work with young Latine children. Director, Amanda Micheli, states that “the film will mean a lot to millions of young girls, and millions of older girls like me”. Halftime will be released digitally June 14 on Netflix.

‘Menudo: Forever Young’: HBO Max Reveals Premiere Date And Trailer For Documentary

Before the days of Boyz II Men, NSYNC, and One Direction, there was Menudo. This new four-part documentary will be released on HBO Max and will give insight into the boy band’s “glamor days” as well as the equally present “web of abuse and exploitation”. Two of its most famous original members include Ricky Martin and Draco Rosa (as Robbi Rosa).
