‘Mexican Beverly Hills’ Family Comedy From Erick Galindo, Aaron Izek, and Wilmer Valderrama In Works At CBS

The family comedy inspired by Galindo’s New York Times essay "Mexican Beverly Hills" is being developed for CBS by Erick Galindo, Aaron Izek, and Wilmer Valderrama. Mexican Beverly Hills tells the story of a working-class Mexican-American family that moves to the wealthy, heavily Latinx city of Downey—also known as the Mexican Beverly Hills—where they both fit in and stand out in ways they never have before.

First look clip to new Guillermo Del Toro Horror Film ‘Antlers’

The first look clip for Searchlight Pictures’ Antlers is out. The film is based on the short story The Quiet Boy by Nick Antosca, the film takes place in an isolated Oregon town. A middle school teacher and her sheriff brother become embroiled with her student whose dark secrets lead to terrifying encounters with an ancestral creature. Read more here.


George Lopez to Star in, Executive Produce NBC Comedy

The comedian and actor will star in and executive produce a new NBC show called Lopez vs Lopez which is most likely scheduled for the 2022-’23 schedule. The potential series will be a family affair as his daughter Mayan Lopez will also star and serve as a producer. Read more here.

In a move to power up more content for the U.S. Hispanic market and beyond, BTF Media has teamed up with L.A. based American Cinema Inspires to develop and produce Hispanic productions with predominantly U.S. Latino talent. Penelope Cruz-Antonia Banderas Starrer ‘Official Competition’ Scooped by IFC Films

IFC films has acquired rights to “Official Competition” starring Penelope Cruz and Antonio Banderas. The movie stars Jose Luis Gomez as an octogenarian millionaire pharmaceutical tycoon who decides to finance a great work of cinema after surveying his legacy and finding it lacking in prestige. IMDb Tv has green-lit comedy series “Primo” a single-cam series inspired by Serrano’s life growing up in San Antonio, TX. It will be a coming-of-age comedy about a teenager balancing college aspirations, societal expectations, and a hectic home life anchored by his single mom and five uncles. Read more here.


Jonah Feingold to Direct Diego Boneta in Paramount Plus Original ‘At Midnight’
