New York State Budget Proposal Boosts Tax Credit, Annual Cap For Film & TV Production, Lures Series From Other States With Added Incentive

New York Governor, Kathy Hochul, sends in a new budget for approval, trying to raise to 30% to bring in more filming in the state. In 2020, Governor Andrew Cuomo lowered the tax credit. A 30% raise increases the annual cap to $700 million.
