Hispanics are the nation's largest and fastest-growing minority group, at 50.5 million or just over 16 percent of the population. President Obama Receives Claudia Acosta's Doc 'It Is Rocket Science in Presidio'

The short documentary It Is Rocket Science in Presidio, produced by NALIP member Claudia Acosta and directed by Academy and Emmy Award winning director Nigel Nobel, was given to President Obama by the film's featured students at the White House Science Fair last week. The film is about a Texas border town physics teacher and her students' unprecedented success in national science and rocketry competitions.

The film's world premiere will take place on Saturday Feb. 25th at 7:00pm at the 2nd Annual Rose Marine Latino Film Festival
