1211 Pictures Previews Latino Films Online

Frank Aragon, the Owner/CEO of 1211 Pictures Entertainment announced today that they will release all films in sneak preview on their website for free. We want to build an audience base that knows our work and likes it! The films include My Fathers Love, Hollywood Familia, and Boyle Heights. The feature films are all Latino based but in English.

The company is aiming specifically at an American Latino audience. The films will also be available for sale in high quality Blue-Ray DVD at a nominal price for those interested in owning it as part of their library. It's been a pretty dry season for the largely untapped English speaking Latino market representing over 9 billion dollars in strength.

"We are a small company, a tiny fish in a giant ocean but we can swim, and we will even if we are limited financially, we will do what ever it takes to do this in a bigger way" says Frank Aragon, who is also the writer/producer/director of their current film "God, Greed and the American Dream."

The company can be found at http://www.1211entertainment.com

Paula Garces
"Harold & Kumar 2" Latina Star Goes Anime

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know about my new animated prequel starring NALIP LPA Alumni Paula Garces (Harold and Kumar 1 & 2, The Shield, Man of the House) called Red Princess Blues Animated: The Book of Violence.

Here is a link to the trailer.
Interview with our star Paula Garces.

Red Princess Blues Animated: The Book of Violence is an animated short film prequel to Alex Ferrari's upcoming feature film Red Princess Blues starring the lovely Paula Garces. Artist extraordinaire and Creative Director of the Visual Effects House Numb Robot, Dan Cregan makes his directorial debut. RPB Animated is a chance to explore the world of Princess, the main character of Red Princess Blues. The film is done completely hand drawn with a few shoots using 3-D and pays homage to the great Japanese Anime films of the past.

In this tale we meet her as a 12 year old little girl who finds herself in a strange country looking for her father. She is then taken in by a unique looking man who goes by Nino. The short film is completely from the perspective of Princess and what she is going through. She soon discovers the Book of Violence and slowly begins her journey that one day will lead to vengeance.

Here is a link to the official site.

Best,
Alex Ferrari
