This year's honorees include:

Kate Del Castillo:
Outstanding Performance in a Motion Picture. A native of Mexico, Ms. Del Castillo was recently nominated for Best Actress in Mexico's highest acting honor, the Ariel Award, for her turn as a pole dancer/prostitute in "American Visa." Kate also appeared in "Trade" (2007) and will soon star in Fox Searchlight's "Under the Same Moon," solidifying her cross-over appeal, acting versatility and international stardom.

Culture Clash: Outstanding Achievement in Theatre. Founders Richard Montoya, Ric Salinas and Herbert Siguenza are the most well-known Chicano/Latino performance troupe in the country and have been utilizing their unique comedic perspective to entertain and provoke American audiences since 1984. Culture Clash is "theater of the moment," giving voice and expression to people in a certain time and place, punctuated by laugh-out-loud fun.

Alana De La Garza: Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series. An esteemed cast member of NBC's Emmy Award-winning series, "Law & Order," De La Garza plays Assistant District Attorney, Connie Rubirosa, and her star continues to rise. Born in Columbus, Ohio, to a Mexican-American father and Irish-American mother, Alana's other network show credits include CSI: Miami (CBS) and "All My Children" (ABC).

Adam Rodriguez: Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series. As Eric Delko on the hit CBS series "CSI: Miami," Adam Rodriguez is far away from his native Yonkers, New York where his first love was baseball. A sports injury sealed Adam's acting destiny and his big break was a small, one-liner along side Jimmy Smitts in NYPD Blue. Rodriguez can also be seen in the 2007 indie movie, "Take" with actress Minnie Driver.

Eduardo "Piolin" Sotelo: Outstanding Service & Commitment to the Latino Community. As "Piolin por la Mañana" (Piolin in the Morning), Eddie Sotelo is loved by the Latino community for the show's ability to not only entertain but to educate and uplift its audience. In 2007, Sotelo lead a writing campaign with his listeners that resulted in over 1 million letters that Eddie delivered to Congress, asking for fair and just immigration reform.
