Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Diversity Committee Career Workshop

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' annual Diversity Committee Career Workshop will be held on the evening of April 19th. The event will be at the TV Academy, with check-in from 6:00 - 7:30pm. Event will start at 7:30pm and proceed until 10:00pm.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Aspiring Network & Studio Executives, Producers, Agents, Writers, Directors, Production Staff; anyone seeking entry-level positions including PAs, assistants, interns, and those trying to move up the ladder. Come in business attire and bring a pen and notepad in a leather portfolio.

NALIP member Carmen Marron's film Go For It! has been selected for narrative compteition in the Boston International Film Festival. The festival will be held April 16-25, and Go For It! will screen on April 18.

NALIPster's film Miracle nominated for Best Film at Swansea Bay Intl. Film Fest

Miracle, a film co-directed by NALIP member Daniel Osorio and his wife Katrina Jasso-Osorio, has been nominated for Best Film for the fourth time, this time at the Swansea Bay International Film Festival, located in the UK. It will be screened on Saturday, May 15, 2010.

Synopsis: Daniel and Katrina have just gotten married and are going to have a baby. However, complications with the baby begin to put heavy stress on the pregnancy as well as extreme tension in their own relationship. But when the situations are at their worst, a truly awesome message of faith, hope and love is brought to light, revealing that there truly can be a miracle reborn.
