Latino Media Market FAQs for Executives

The NALIP Media Summit is a 4-day conference and one of the largest and most prestigious gatherings of diverse content creators, industry professionals, and those interested in Latine content. The summit contains panels, workshops, a showcase, and networking opportunities for attendees.

The Latino Media Market is a prime opportunity to discover fresh, diverse talent and content within the Latine community. The Latino Media Market brings Latine filmmakers closer to getting their projects produced, by pairing them with executives, reps, and mentors. The market is held during the annual NALIP Media Summit.

Some previously attended companies consisted of: HBO, Netflix, Amazon Studios, Blumhouse Productions, Walt Disney Company, Starz, Anonymous Content, United Talent Agency, PBS, Macro, among many others.

The Latino Media Market is on August 12-13, during the NALIP Media Summit August 11-14. The 2022 market will be held in-person, as well as, an option to set up meetings virtually.

The averarage time commitment for the Latino Media Market is 4 to 5 hours spread over two days of meetings. Meetings are 25-minutes each. We encourage to set up follow ups after the event if you would like to continue the conversation with the creatives.

In addition, every executive can choose which projects to meet, depending on their current development slate and what they’re looking for.

We receive hundreds of projects and make a curated selection in four categories: Feature Films, Feature & Episodic Documentaries, Episodic TV & Streaming Series, and new media Podcasts.

We send a curated list to the executives and it is up to them to select which projects to meet. That way we ensure that you will be meeting only with creators whose projects have commercial viability, high quality standards and are in line with what you are looking for.

The Latino Media Market for 2022 will be hybrid. For executives not in the LA area or would prefer a virtual meeting, we will provide the same industry access to the selected creators who will pitch to different executives remotely. The questionnaire we send will contain a section designated for remote meetings.

We make our best to accommodate the meetings to the executive’s schedule. Since this year the Latino Media Market will be held both online and in-person, you will be able to take the meetings in the most convenient time and place for you.
