Claudia Restrepo, Video Producer for BuzzFeed's Pero Like
Claudia Restrepo is a Los Angeles-based writer and director currently focusing on Latinx content for BuzzFeed’s Pero Like team. Before producing for the world wide web, Claudia’s 2012 play Reconstruction received a Theater Unleashed Award for best of Hollywood Fringe, and her screenplay Chicago Candid was named a 2014 Academy Nicholl Fellowship quarterfinalist. She is a graduate of the National Hispanic Media Coalition Television Writing Program, and a 2015 finalist for the Nickelodeon Writing Program. As a director Claudia has produced work for multiple BuzzFeed platforms including Tasty, Top Knot, Violet, and Pero Like. Claudia is passionate about minority and queer representation, both on and off screen. One of her favorite projects to date is Lesbian Princess, a series she co-wrote and directed, which has amassed millions of views and combines her love of historical fiction with LGBT themes. Her latest short, When You Can’t Have Sex, focuses on women’s health and chronic pain, and exemplifies her commitment to marginalized voices.  
 
Marvin Lemus, Director of Gentefied and Vamonos
Marvin Lemus is an award-winning screenwriter, director, and producer with a passion for telling unapologetic and subversive stories. Lemus’ eclectic body of work ranges between the film festival circuit and the digital world. Most recently, Lemus co-wrote and directed GENTE-FIED, a bilingual digital series produced by America Ferrera and MACRO, (Fences, Mudbound). Gente-fied recently premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and is currently being developed for television and was selected for the 2017 Sony Diverse Director's Program.
