Development Intern/Volunteer

Looking for smart, creative, and can-do intern/volunteer to help research and development for NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) with a focus on the production of Latino Lens Showcase and other upcoming events and programs. Will be working under the production development team. This is an unpaid internship, college credit is available. Must be available at least 3 days a week at least 4 hours a day. Will gain knowledge of industry while working hands on with your department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Research

  • Pre-awareness of television, film, digital, entertainment ecosystem, etc.

  • Developing ideas, and assisting with current programming for events.

  • Assist with event operations and development. Pre production, on site, and post production.

  • Communicating with other teams, participants and executives.

  • Other development and production assisting duties.

 

Qualification:

  • Knowledgeable and passionate of the entertainment industry.

  • Social Media, technologically savvy.

  • Working knowledge of google drive, docs, sheets, excel, powerpoint, script coverage. Photoshop, final cut, final draft is a plus.

  • Great communication skills, organizational skills and writing skills.

  • Works well under pressure, in teams and on individual tasks.Ability to work in a team setting, while sharing tasks, responsibilities and managing multiple requests.
