WarnerMedia is looking to hire a Sustainability Coordinator to report to the Director of Sustainability in the West Coast Production department. This department houses the production and post teams responsible for producing scripted HBO and HBO Max content globally. The position is available immediately and although WarnerMedia has offices in Culver City, CA, working remotely full or part-time will be considered. This role will provide essential support to the sustainable production program, HBO Green, across HBO and HBO Max shows.
The Job

The Daily
-
Onboarding shows and communicating effectively with their Production teams as well as all department heads.

Liaising with show sustainability leads to facilitate program implementation and optimize opportunities for carbon emission and environmental impact reduction efforts.

Managing program materials to reflect improved sustainable production processes, evolving areas of impact, and an expanding eco-vendor database.

Disseminating program information and results internally.

Collecting production deliverables.

Analyzing and aggregating show data to inform various corporate requests and identify areas of focus.

Supporting parallel efforts e.g. asset redistribution, DEI programs, communications.

Project managing as related to sustainable production efforts, specifically regional and supply chain initiatives.

Working to identify and apply clean power solutions for pilot programs and on productions.

Participating in select industry groups and representing HBO/HBO Max in collaborative efforts.

Approving proper screen and end credits for eligible shows.
The Essentials
-
Bachelor’s degree, emphasis in environmental science or sustainability preferred, or other relevant educational experience

2+ years of physical production experience on or with studio-sized series or film production
-
Ideally experienced in production sustainability, tracking emissions, and implementing carbon reduction measures on productions

Must display effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Must be organized, thorough, able to efficiently manage a high volume of productions and projects

Strong analytic skills

Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, and take initiative

Self-starter, able to work independently, capable of effectively communicating with all levels and types of colleagues

Must be a team player and able to collaborate across multiple divisions within WarnerMedia and outside productions

Fluent with standard office software (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.)

Familiarity with Scenechronize and PEACH+ / PEAR / PLUM tools
