The successful candidate will be the point for ECITV on new rights management build working collaboratively with IT, consultants, other divisions, internal stakeholders and new system corporation to ensure a smooth transition of existing data to a new system.


 

Key Accountabilities

  • Running point for ECITV on new rights management build working collaboratively with IT, consultants, other divisions, internal stakeholders and new system corporation to ensure a smooth transition of existing data to a new system and ensure the build is set correctly to ensure smooth business practices and process on a go forward.

  • Liaise on an ongoing basis with other EC divisions that will work within the rights system to ensure consistency across divisions and accuracy of data.

  • Audit information and setup on an ongoing basis to maintain accuracy and best practices in the system.

  • Work strategically with Finance, Sales, Acquisitions, IT, Servicing and Legal to create workflows across the division and see that the elements as they relate to Rights Management are executed as expected.

  • Oversee data entry for the business and provide training on an ongoing basis to users.

  • Provide options to maximize efficiency as it relates to deal and rights management in the system.

  • Set up and maintain new titles and agreements in the rights management system.

  • QC all deals entered by regional offices to ensure accuracy of data and provide conflict checks.

  • Confirming available rights or sales history as requested.

  • Provide underlying rights information and work with legal to confirm where required.

 

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Significant experience as a Paralegal or equivalent with a clear understanding of Rights Management.

  • Experience as a manager, training staff and presenting to groups.

  • Experience of a variety of database systems – relevant to rights management.

  • Ability to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships.

  • Must be familiar with the TV global landscape

  • Deep product understanding with a genuine passion and respect for entertainment content.

  • Ability to work with high-level senior managers.

  • Ability to speak several languages e.g. Spanish, Mandarin

  • Proven ability to work in a matrix organisation and large corporate company.

  • Ability to juggle and prioritise a varied and heavy workload with the ability to plan ahead.

  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients of all levels both internally and externally.

  • Ability to interact across different levels within the organisation.

 

Working Conditions

  • This is a permanent position and will base in Chiswick Business Park, London.

  • Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.

  • Unsociable working hours may at times be required to business deadlines.

  • Occasional travel and weekend work may be required.
