Business Fundamentals 101 Workshop, Feb. 20 in NYC

NALIP-NY, Tio Louie and HOLA invite you to invite you to a Prime Latino Media Salon workshop: Business Fundamentals 101 - Winning Strategies to Succeed for Creative Artists. This FREE workshop takes place in New York City on Wednesday, Feb. 20 with networking starting at 5:30pm and the workshop starting at 6:00pm.

Calling all Latino filmmakers, actors and artists who have a passion project, start-up or small, established business. Learn the "do's and don'ts" about the business side of the arts from seasoned professionals who will share their expertise. Learn how to start a formalized business, where to get free counsel within this arena, as well as developing a business plan to raise capital.

· Ira Davidson, Pace SBDC Director (Small Business Development Center): Pro-bono assessment by consultants for start-up's and small businesses. This center is based at Pace University and open free to the public.

· Don'Angelo Bivens, Founder/Chief Maestro: MAESTRO - an entity dedicated to helping small and growing business excel through education and executive coaching services. Maestro strategically partners with NYC co-working and incubator spaces to offer services to start-ups.
