Actress and Latina activist America Ferrera will launch a new docuseries with Hearst Magazines Digital Media that will center around Ferrera’s new organization, Harness. According to Remezcla, the docuseries will “encourage activism and celebrate a new class of role models who are changing their communities and our country.”
Harness was co-founded by Ferrera, her husband Ryan Piers Williams and Wilmer Valderrama. The organization was made to inspire communities to action and empower change. Their mission is to educate people on the social issues happening in their community through digital platforms in order to help people find ways to take action.
The docuseries will headline across Cosmo, Elle, and Marie Claire.
We are excited to see Latinos take part in such an amazing project that is educating and motivating others to create change. We can’t wait to hear inspiring stories from so many activists who are working together to strengthen and unite the community.
