On February 1st, "Tidal Podcasts" launched "Inside My DNA", a biweekly video podcast dedicated to mining the stories of artists who are proud descendants of immigrant families. "Inside My DNA's" timely arrival stands as a response to the national political climate currently rife with anti-immigrant and anti-black rhetoric.

The first episode will feature "Orange Is the New Black's" Jessica Pimentel. Jessica will be discussing being the product of immigration, unity in the face of adversity, and family heritage : “It made me proud of who I am. The food I eat. The music I grew up on -- the traditions that we have. All the…superstitions that we have, it all comes from there.”

The video podcast is co-hosted by TIDAL editors Jesús Triviño Alarcón and former Billboard hip-hop editor Adelle Platon
