Rasheed "Sheed" Wallace is a retired American professional basketball player who played 17 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). His long list of achievements include winning the 2004 NBA championship with the Detroit Pistons, two championship appearances, playing in four conference finals, four selections as an NBA All-Star, and playing for six franchises. His teammates consistently described him as a great leader and a comrade they could always rely upon.
With the great mentoring gained from his mother and coaches, he's worked with young people for decades, giving them insight and instilling self-worth and value in and off the court. Currently, Rasheed's passion for being an encouraging teammate and mentor continues in the form of creating children's animation, comics, books, and toys. The joy and fulfillment Rasheed gains from creative storytelling grew into a venture when he met fellow North Philly creative, Saddler Ward (QuanZilla). Together, they are the brains behind Kids Entertainment, whose purpose is to create a diverse group of entertainment properties, while adding their personal spin to this segment of the marketplace. Through memorable images, stories and video games, Kids Entertainment is on a mission to "build characters that build character" around the world.
