Stephanie Aaronson is the Vice President of Education and Community Impact at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). She is responsible for leading the implementation of a cross-company public media initiative “American Graduate: Let’s Make It Happen,” which is helping communities addresses high school dropout rates and provide local supports to more students ensuring they graduate ready for college and careers. Ms. Aaronson also leads the grant program “Veteran’s Coming Home” to help returning veterans successfully transition to civilian life. Prior to CPB, she was Senior Director at PBS and PBS KIDS, where she served on the senior corporate strategy and operations teams as well as lead communications teams. Previously, she held public affairs, business development, production and broadcast management positions at Citizen Jane Politics, Hallmark Channel, Lifetime Television, Discovery Communications, Rutledge Broadcasting, and National Empowerment Television (NET).
