Welcome to CPTR’D, a video contest for amateur storytellers, student filmmakers, and avid sports fans to tell any sports story, your way.

We want you to get out there and produce the best short-form documentary or feature on any sports-related topic you choose. No subject is off limits. Please just keep your future masterpiece under 10 minutes.

If your film is selected as one of our Top 5, you’ll win an all-expense paid trip to Austin, TX for a Watch Party featuring your film. Better yet, the first place winner will win $10,000!

SUBMISSION & JUDGING 
The submission window will be open from November 9th, 2015 – January 12th, 2016. The Top 5 will be announced on February 4th, 2016. Public voting on the Top 5 will run from February 4th, 2016 – March 9th, 2016. Your votes, combined with judging from industry influencers, will determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Winners will be announced in March, 2016.

RULES 
Submissions must contain sports subject matter, must be no longer than ten minutes in length, must contain originally shot footage and must have been produced within the past two years. Contest participants must have the permission of all persons appearing in the video.
