Support Provided

Provide support, education, and recognition to high school seniors and other 17 and 18 year old artists at a critical time in their emerging careers. In the performing, visual, and literary arts: cinematic arts, music, jazz, voice, dance, photography, theater, visual arts, and writing. youngARTS program youngARTS evaluates students against a standard of excellence for their discipline and age. Approximately 10 percent receive scholarships and awards. Of those, up to 150 students are chosen to participate in youngARTS Week, during which they are brought to Miami for an all-expenses-paid week of master classes, showcase performances, exhibitions, interdisciplinary activities, enrichment programs, interviews, and the final auditions. youngARTS winners share $500,000 in cash awards and the chance to be nominated as a Presidential Scholar in the Arts. An additional $3 million in scholarship opportunities is available to all youngARTS applicants. $35 flat fee to register
