ABOUT "LATINA CONFESSIONS"
What does it mean to be Latina in the U.S. today? How does the “Madonna/Whore Complex” impact Latina sexuality? When two competing cultures engage in a tug of war, which side wins? In frank and confessional monologues, Latinas defy stereotypes as they share intimate secrets on sex, family and religion.

Latina Confessions features Latinas 21-73 years of age exploring it all in passionate, inspiring, and bound-to-be controversial interviews. Born in the U.S. and Latin America, participants are primarily educated and professionals who have successfully overcome notions of gender roles in a male-dominated culture. After that, it’s a free for all. Differences of race, country of origin, class, Spanish fluency, age, spirituality and U.S. geographical location emerge freely in candid discussions that ultimately result in a celebration of Latina identity.

ABOUT LOUIS E. PEREGO MORENO
Louis is an Interactive Content Producer. For 25 years, Louis has been the President of SKYLINE FEATURES, an English and Spanish-language multimedia production and educational company focusing on trans-cultural, multicultural and youth edutainment projects. Louis' extensive experience as a youth counselor and his own cultural/sexual identity struggles as a Bronx-born Latino gay man of mixed Cuban-Argentine origin give a unique perspective to a documentary film on Latinas in the U.S.A. This combination of backgrounds foster a safe, comfortable environment evident in the manner in which women express their most intimate

feelings, risking their reputations while challenging society’s expectations. Interviewees are all English speakers from New York City, California, San Antonio, El Paso, and New Mexico. What results is a unique picture of take-charge individuals who forever challenge simplistic, long-standing views of what it means to be Latina in the United States.

Nine of his documentaries have aired on HBO Family. Other projects have included a documentary for WB11 featuring Edward James Olmos with incarcerated adolescents on Rikers Island to Casting Producer for projects on HBO, TLC and A&E. He is based in New York City.
