NALIP Official Selection Shorts Winner and Feature Narrative Screening
NALIP presents the 2015 Latino Creators Recognitions, recipients includeL Moving Film Forward Recognition to Hebe Tabachnik (Ficg in LA); and Olancho, the Grand Selection Recognition to the 2015 NALIP Official Selection. NALIP's opening night continues with Ardor (Participant Media).
A visually sumptuous adventure about a mysterious man who emerges from the Argentinian rainforest to rescue a family from ruthless land-grabbers bent on stealing their farm. Ardor is written and directed by Pablo Fendrik (Blood Appears, The Muggers), and stars Gael García Bernal (No, Motorcycle Diaries) and Alice Braga (I Am Legend, City of God) working together for the first time since they collaboration in Fernando Meirelles' Blindness. Ardor made its world premiere as an Official Selection at the Cannes Film Festival.
