NALIP Launches 2017 Media Summit App

The 2017 NALIP Media Summit (17NMS) is just around the corner and we are excited to announce the launch of our NALIP Media Summit and Event mobile app! The app has everything you need to know about our event and is designed to enhance your experience at the summit. It’s super easy to use and we have added exciting new features this year! Below are some tips to get you started.

1. Make a Profile

Making a profile allows you to create a schedule and game plan for the four-day event, as well as show you other attendees. It’s a great way to ensure you don’t miss any sessions or familiar faces during the event.

To create a profile, open the app and click on “NALIP Media Summit.” From there, select the hamburger menu at the top left-hand corner and press “Login” at the very top. Fill out all your information and select “Submit.” You’ll receive a notification stating an email has been sent to create a password, but don’t worry too much about it because it’s optional.

2. Explore

After your profile is set up, you will have access to all things (17NMS). The hamburger menu features sessions, speakers, exhibitors, screenings, networking events, venue map, directions and hotel information. The app will also keep you informed on the latest updates happening throughout the summit. Get familiar with the information and app, then email membership@nalip.com if you have any questions.

3. Customize Your Summit Schedule

We are presenting over 35 signature sessions, exhibitions and interactive booths during 17NMS, which is why you should strategize and be efficient with your time. We recommend going through the events and adding your favorites to your in-app schedule or personal calendar, both options are listed at the top of each session. This will allow you to attend all your favorite sessions and events without any confusion.

4. Create Your Digital NALIP Business Card

Afraid you’ll run out of business cards at the summit? We have you covered! Under the hamburger menu, click “Contacts” then “My Card” and tada! You now have your own digital business card ready for networking. You can even share your business cards with other attendees, just press the plus sign on the top right corner.

5. Watch Event Highlights

Missed an event, session or panel? Don’t worry, we will be your eyes and ears at each sessions, offering you pictures and videos of some of your favorites. Just click “Videos“ for access to all event highlights.
