La Plaza de Cultura y Artes is hosting free film screening and discussion series through the month of April, this month will feature the short documentary The Unique Ladies, directed and produced by NALIPster Gloria Morán. The Unique Ladies "flips the script" on lowrider culture, focusing on women lowriders as they navigate a low and slow season in San Diego. Gloria is a NALIP Latino Producers Academy fellow as well as being recently selected for the NALIP/WORLD Channel American Graduate grant.
