Rodriguez is the female lead in Universal’s blockbuster Fast & Furious franchise, whose seventh installment is breaking box- office records worldwide to the tune of $1.153 billion and counting.

The actress drew critical acclaim with her debut in the 2000 indie boxing drama Girlfight, which won the Sundance grand jury prize as well as Award of the Youth at Cannes. Rodriguez also earned Deauville, Gotham, Independent Spirit, Las Vegas Film Critics Society and National Board of Review accolades for her performance. Her other movie credits include Resident Evil, Blue Crush, S.W.A.T., Avatar and Machete.
