Octavio Marin is NALIP’s Signature Programs Director. He has been responsible for producing all of the organization’s programs including the Latino Producers Academy™, the Latino Media Resource Guide™, the Latino Writers Lab™, the Latino Media Market™, and the National Conference. Previously, he was unit production manager on the feature film How the Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer, and a production consultant on America 101. Octavio was also a production associate and production supervisor on the films One Man’s Hero and Texas Rangers. Octavio studied management and film production at UCLA and received his Doctorate from the University of Mexico City.
