Joseph Torres is currently the Senior Adviser in Washington’s office of Government and External Affairs. He is the co-author of the book “How Long Must We Wait,” which traces the origins of our nation’s media system and the fight by people of color for social justice in the news and communications industries. His journalism credits include Hispanic Link Weekly Report, Hispanic Magazine, and Staten Island Advance. He received a B.S. in Communications, College of Staten Island.
