LMF Submission FAQs
The Latino Media Festival is the unique presenter of the best U.S. based Latino content across all media platforms: short narrative films, television/streaming pilots, digital content, virtual reality, augmented reality and documentary shorts.
NALIP's Latino Media Festival brings together Latino filmmakers, industry reps, executives, and film aficionados for a 2-day event. The festival will feature premieres, workshops, master classes, nightly mixers and star-studded awards ceremony to recognize substantial work in entertainment that inspires Latino creatives to continue moving their projects forward in front and behind the camera.
Yes, you can attend the Latino Media Fest without submitting a film. Please purchase a pass in order to attend the workshop, panels, screenings, and industry mixer (21+).
The projects must have a running time less than 20 minutes.
Must feature Latino talent on or behind the camera in leading roles, and/or focus on issues that pertain to the Latino/a community.
In order to submit for consideration, please go to our Filmfreeway page. Deadline for submissions is August 6th at 11:59pm.
We only accept completed film submissions.
Yes, there is. Please email LatinoMediaFest@nalip.org to confirm your membership and they will provide you the relevant information.
The program includes:
- Mentor Workshop
- Master Classes
- Networking Mixers (21 & Over event)

We highly recommend that you send them the link to purchase their own pass. If you purchase multiple passes, please email LatinoMediaFest@nalip.org and notify who will receive the additional ticket(s). Please provide their full name and email address. Please remember to bring ID the day of the event.
