Evangeline Griego is a veteran independent filmmaker, director, and media activist. She recently produced the independent feature film, Sweet Old World.
Currently, she is producing the documentary, Rebels, Wackos and Bums, and an historical film on New Mexico. She is also in pre-production on a documentary about the Hollywood chase scene. Evangeline’s other producing credits include award-winning documentaries Chevolution, Sir! No Sir!, Calavera Highway, and the PBS series, The New Americans. She directed the award-winning documentaries, God Willing, Paño Arte: Images From Inside, and Border Visions/Visiones Fronterizos. Evangeline is a founder of the Silver Lake Film Festival and served on the NALIP board of directors for nine years.
