Call for VOLUNTEERS!

The NALIP Conference VI team seeks energetic and reliable volunteers interested in working as Production Assistants at our upcoming Conference being held March 3 – 6, 2005 at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, California.

Volunteers should be able to commit to two, 3-hour shifts during the duration of the Conference. Production Assistants must have an interest in working with the NALIP Conference VI production team in organizing and producing the most popular and only independent Latino Film Industry Conference in the nation.

Responsibilities include working during the Conference in areas such as screenings, registration, gala awards reception and so on. Volunteers who are able to commit will receive a discounted registration fee of $100 which includes attending panels, workshops, networking reception, keynote luncheons and meals. Panels that you attend may only be attended when you are NOT scheduled during a shift.

The NALIP Conference VI team will work to accommodate your availability with our needs, as we are very flexible, but keep in mind we have a number of positions to be filled during the conference. Also, unless Production Assistants apply for and receive a scholarship, they will be responsible for their own lodging during the Conference.
