The NALIP 10 team seeks energetic and reliable volunteers to work as Production Assistants at our upcoming Conference, to be held April 17–19, 2009 at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach, California.
Production Assistants should be able to commit a minimum of 8 hours of service during the duration of the Conference, or 10 hours of service prior to the Conference. Production Assistants should be interested in work with the NALIP Conference 10 production team organizing and producing this popular and dynamic Latino media conference.
Responsibilities include working during the Conference in areas such as screenings, registration, awards ceremony, receptions and other program management and production activities. Volunteers who commit their time will receive a discounted registration fee of $110, and will be permitted to attend select panels, workshops, networking receptions, and keynote luncheons when not on work shifts.
The NALIP 10 team will match your availability and interests with our needs: we are very flexible! But we must staff key positions, so the earlier you register, the better we can accommodate your schedule at the Conference.
Please note: unless Production Assistant Volunteers apply for and receive a Conference shared-lodging scholarship, they will be fully responsible for their own hotel stay during Conference 10.
